I looked around on the forum but couldn't find an answer to this. Let me know what you guys think:

If I play Cybernetic Rebirth on The Reavers, and I get the event from The Crossing that makes you KO a hero, can I KO the Reavers, but keep them around for the rest of the battle?

Yup, that is legal. The KO from the event counts as a KO for the battle, so any lingering effects of that KO will happen (Scarlet Witch's -5 Venture, New Warriors' Draw 2, etc.)
