Title: Any Hero cards not allowed if using battlesite?

I have seen it alluded to, but never specifically stated anywhere or perhaps I am just misunderstanding.
Is there a rule that you cannot use Any Hero special cards in your deck if you are playing with a battlesite and activators?

Excellent, thanks. The whole battlesite mechanic is silly anyway. This makes it easier for my deckbuilding.

We've been playing with both the entire time (battlesites with activators along with Any Hero/Any Character Specials), being as there is nothing in the rules that precludes this.

Curious where anyone ever came up with such a ruling from, as it doesn't appear to be in any version of the rulebook.
