Inherent vs special

Bastion inherit says I cards cannot be shifted.  If he goes after onslaught and onslaught has already played cannon fodder.  Which yields to other?  In a related vein, AOA colossus attacks FF plaza with strength card. Can it be shifted?  Thanks
