Teammate avoid from battlesite

If one hero is left on each team, can either play a teammate avoid from battlesite?  I've seen them disallowed cuz there are no teammates.  I thought battlesite was a"guest hero" arriving, contributing to the cause and then leaving.  It's the simple things that tie me up

No, The battlesite allows one of your characters to play a special. So if you only have one hero left, you cannot play a teamate avoid.
