Title: Ally follow-up
Post by: mattkoz on February 20, 2012, 10:32:34 PM
Can an Any Hero/Character be used as a follow up to an ally, or does it have to be a teammate specific special?

Teammate's special. Any Hero/Character specials can never be used to follow up, not even after another Any Hero/Character (say, from the AA).

What if the Any Character special is one that has been placed on a teammate (e.g. Savage Land)?
Does it now count as a teammate special or does it still hold to the no Any Special rule following an Ally? I think the answer is no but just wanted to make sure.

Placing doesn't change the fact it's an Any Hero/Character special.

Cool. That's what I figured. Thanks for the quick reply, Jack.

no. after an Ally card, the only legal play is a Special card from one of your teammate's own Specials. No Any Heroes, no Battlesite Specials.

Some of the DC Ally cards say, Team mate "may" play a special, has this been changed to "must" like the Marvel ones?

All of them. All Ally cards are 'Must'
