In a continual effort to gather the Overpower community here, I am trying to find what methods have been succeeding. Thanks in advance for the help!
I probably first came across it from Wikipedia.
i found it from a link on Jack's Overpower.ca website!

I was going to type the exact same thing but Kal-el beat me to it. I, too, was google searching trying to look for sites that were selling cards so I could try and complete my collection.

Did you ever find anything good Nate? My best (only?) find was a box of PowerSurge for I think $60.
Google search while trying to find some semblance of meta rules/errata.
I think I was searching on Google for deck ideas and happened upon the site. Lurked for quite some time before I registered and posted.

I ended up buying a lot of character sets and singles through eBay but have also been fortunate to trade with the members of this site.
I have a full set of all the cards printed, including the oversized placcard heroes from the original set. I'm still not sure if I'm selling them or not, but for the right price I might be persuaded to let them go. As of this moment, they are simply taking up space in the front closet. If I had folks near by to play with, I would have decks and decks and decks built, but being the last remaining player in SoFla (at least it feels that way) I might consider selling.
I was doing a Google search to see people's homemade cards and found it. Didn't sign up for the forum until I "rediscovered" the page as a link to "justabgkid"'s site.

I also found it through "justabgkid". I hadn't really played or thought about overpower in a few years and then I started getting the "op itch". ;) It dawned on me with the internet the way it is today there's a community for everything so why not op. I set off looking and the rest is history. Or course this site was much less traveled then.
I think I found it through OnePerDeck.com
Found it through the OP facebook page, actually.

Who maintains the facebook page? Is it something I should link to? I don't have facebook so I haven't seen that page.
I do. BBH is also an Admin there.

Is there a way to directly link to there?
My signature has direct links to all of pages I administer.

There's a disconnect between the social media presence. I grabbed the Twitter handle back in 2009 luckily.
I found your forum through Just A Big Kid's page, although ironically I had visited the other half of your sight to grab Marvels cards beforehand and spent almost a year here before realizing the two sites were connected.
the facebook page i believe
From overpower.ca
Overpower.ca . I kind of ambled about the wherefores in my introductory post.
Jack on twitter. Blame him for my being here :P.
I found it looking for the OverpoweR online game :o
I was told about it after writing a retro review for the game for a website I write for called Following the Nerd!
Enjoying the the Overpower website but as you imagine I have a butt load of catching up to do on the forums.
Cheers
Chris
Welcome to the forums, Chris. Always great to have another fan of Overpower join us. Nice review of the game you gave. :)
I found this site because I was teaching my wife how to play since she started liking card games (DC deck building game) and I had forgotten some of the rules and found this site. It's great to see that my favourite card game still lives on.
I found out about it because you told me.
Then I joined in hopes to be able to one day beat you at your favorite game.
From overpower.ca.....I use tools and specials wiki and I tried this tab maybe by accident. Good times!
I think I found this through Facebook, which may have linked me to another page which linked me here...
I was looking to play online I'm a OP wizard.
Hey all. So I found out about this site through the Board Game Geek website. My family have always been board game players, over the past couple of years now that my son is older those board games have become more advanced and have also started to include games like Marvel Legendary. Once we all got hooked on that game it seemed natural to break out my collection of DC/JLA Overpower cards and introduce him to those. We played a few times together and I even made up our own play mat. This all brings me to the main reason I came here. I had posted on the BGG site looking to see if anyone was interested in trading and was pointed in this direction. I just posted in the trade/sale section of the forum here and thought I'd also post here to say an official hello! Thanks for having me, and thanks for being here!!
Hello everyone, I'm Alex. I used to play Overpower back in the day with my brothers and our friends. It was all we did for years and was so much fun. After the series ended and the popularity died, I ended up selling my cards. However, being the creative people we were, my brothers and I started making up cards of our to play with. Probably not surprising. We started with some character cards for those who didn't have one, and others we thought should have one. I also started making up Transformers Overpower cards. I got very extensive with how much I made, making grids for a ton of regular bots, and specials to go along with their abilities. It was fun. While no one I know plays anymore, I was googling for images to make some cards for nostalgia purposes, and found this site. So, hello, and say hi anytime. Thanks!
Alex
