Hello. I'm always willing to share mine too. They are in photoshop format. Older so anything should open it. Shoot me a message with your email and what templates you want. I have ones in Marvel, DC, Image format for about any card.

Nice! I really like what you did with the grids on the character cards. I've dropped the words on some of mine too but that shading behind the icons keeps them from getting lost in the art.

He had a pretty important tenure on Hulk, no? That stuff didn't quite hit for ya?

I've read some of his Hulk stuff. Wasn't really a fan. He did write the original Spider-Man 2099 right? That was good. I collected a lot of the 2099 stuff when it came out. I mostly only liked the Doom and Spider-Man titles. That's worth a re-read sometime though.

Quote from: Palatinus on June 15, 2024, 03:41:31 AMI'm reading through all of marvel 2099.  It's definitely a product of its time and has some real issues, but there's also a lot of good mixed in and I like when they actually try to do different things.

I really wanna work through Spider-Man 2099. I always liked that he was Irish and Latino, like me lol.

I'm enjoying Spider-man 2099. Right now my favorite 2099 book is Doom. Spider-man is second. Ravage would be third. Punisher is last for me. I'm hoping the book takes a turn, but at the point I'm at, it's pretty bad. I haven't gotten to X-Men yet, but I'm sure I'll like it if for no reason then my X-Men bias.

I can definitely recommend Spider-man 2099. Miguel is a good character. He's very different from Peter Parker, but he comes into his own as the comic progresses.

Here's Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. It's a little weird and there's a mechanic we borrowed from some other talented creators as well.

Freddy Fazbear's Pizza

Something else we did here was this card is "double-sided" and could just be run as a proper Homebase.

In any case, either the Character or Location variant can run this Aspect!

Hope you dig this "set" so far.

Custom Cards / Monumental Unlimited

Hey y'all,

Figured a good place to start is with our slowly forming (and accidentally happening) Monumental Unlimited set. I figured it would be cool to showcase "teams" that aren't a part of Marvel or DC (though who knows, I might have to do Morrison or Way's Doom Patrol iterations here since they don't get enough love). I've only got two rough drafts so far: the Space Riders (from Black Mask Studios eponymous series) and Freddy Fazbear's Pizza (courtesy of my wonderful girlfriend, Jeeny).

Space Riders

I also made a special sorta Ally card, like the ones Fenn has made.

And a full art variant of the Skullship

Quote from: fennshysa on June 10, 2024, 10:33:29 PMI've just started back through Maddrox and X-Factor with the Peter David X-Factor Omnibus. I never really thought Peter David was a good writer til I read the X-Factor Investigations stuff.

I loved the X-Factor stuff during Decimation. I have a ton of it and want to complete that run before I move on to getting more of David's work on the series. I know he loves those guys.

He had a pretty important tenure on Hulk, no? That stuff didn't quite hit for ya?

Quote from: Majestic on June 10, 2024, 01:33:36 PMI've regularly read comics for over four decades, and have around 14 long boxes full.

Sadly, for the last couple years I've pretty much quit reading new stuff, with the exception of Saga (which I collect in trades).

I love Saga! I have it all in floppy format, except for the first two trades.

If you ever want some suggestions on new stuff, I've got a ton, especially if you like Saga.
