Title: Event: No cards with the word negate may be played this battle

Does devourer count as a card with the word negate?

so going off this logic, if an event says, no cards with the word "avoid" maybe be played, does this affect confusion as well?

"Avoids all attacks from one teamwork card...."

oh my!... So the negate event would STOP DOW from being played that battle but it does remove it from table, right?

It doesn't remove it from the table, would be nice if it did.
