Title: AE Special Combinations
Post by: Tussin on June 06, 2022, 12:48:58 AM
can i chain combo AE specials together if i used beyonder, abilities or an event to allow 1 character to use AE specials to combine into eachother to make one massive hit?

let's say i have a team with Thunderbolts, Gambit and Starjammers together on the front line

can i chain these cards together if i had something to allow 1 person to use them?

a 12 Int/Fig/Str hit to block, avoid or negate?

I believe the answer is no. Meta rule #11.
#11 "If a Special indicates a specific type of "card" (such as "Fighting card") then the only card which can be used with this is a "pure" Power card (such as a Fighting Power card)."
So even though Gambit says "may combine with 1 Strength card" what it really says is "may combine with 1 Strength Power card"
