Forgive me for asking, Ninja, but how can one logically answer that question?  There is no "official" or "set" price of any particular card or set, justa "going price", either what the market will bear, or what the seller insists upon getting.

And either way, the very act of "spending" money on something precludes the act of "saving" money by definition.

I would simply think that the overpower price guide would give you a good comparison of what the cards are worth and how much money you paid for them would be your amount.

I paid $40 for my DOW.  I also got a multi-5 for about $25 in trades but then ended up buying a second one for $75 by mistake...lol, so I average out...

That's ok when you break even chuu not everyone gets a good deal. There was a guy was selling a bunch of factory sealed image boxes       someone on ebay bought them a few months ago and when I seen what they sold for I was like sh!!!!!!!!t . They sold for less than $500. Normally those suckers sell for $750+ Ea.
