Move a character to reserve - but no room?

Hi guys,

I have a question about having to move a character to reserve if there is no room.

If this event comes up:



And then I use this to move a front line guy to the empty reserve spot with this:



What happens to the other hero at the end of the turn? Two characters in reserve? The character doesn't return?

You can always bring a reserve up to fill an empty front line spot at the beginning of the battle. In this scenario, the character who moves forward is entirely up to you.

I am OK with who goes forward, I am talking about at the end of the battle, what happens.

Example:

Team: Thing Spider-Man Captain Mar-Vell  Reserve Spider-Woman

Event is played, and I move Spider Woman up front, (4 front line characters)
During the turn, I play the Captain's special. He goes in Reserve.
End of turn, event tells me to return Spider Woman to Reserve.

What happens?

Then I'd say move that character back to the reserve, as the card dictates.

At the beginning of the next battle, one of your reserves would move up. You pick which one.

Borrowing the ruling for the IA special:

If more than one character is in reserve, the player chooses which one to move back up to the front line at the end of the current battle.

Thanks! I would then move spider woman to the back at the end of the current battle due to the Event, having both the Capt and Spider Woman in reserve.

I Would then immediately move one of them up.
