i recently opened a set of OP boosters, and thought i'd post the breakdown
36 missions (duh)
infinity gauntlet: 6 (missing#4)
maximum carnage: all 7
ahhihilation affair: all 7
infestation incident: 5 (missing #2/3)
age of apocalypse 4 (missing#2/3/4)
fatal attractions 7 (missing #6, duplicate of #2)
27 characters
of the 24 available in starter, 19 were present. missing were: war machine/jean grey/rogue/beast/punisher
duplicates of: doom/hobgoblin
of the 15 available in boosters only, 5 were present. human torch/invisible woman/magneto/iron man/hulk(X2)
36 power cards
good distribution. missing were: 8e/8s/4m (some good ones!)
34 universe cards
25 basic univers: missing were 6+1s (hot dog cart!?!) and 8+2s
6 training: all 6 unique
3 tws: 7e/6f/6s
191 specials
pretty even distribution here. only thing of note was there were zero psylocke cards
thoughts
the universe distribution was quite interesting. the lack of dupes looks looks like they did it on purpose. there was a similar breakdown with the mission cards
i wish i had paid more attention to the power cards. it averages to 1/pack...was this an actual distribution?
the characters were a bit upseting. could have been luck of the draw, but only getting 5/15 booster exclusives is pretty weak
the character specials would often come 3 (and sometimes 4!) to a pack, but didn't seem to correspond to the hero cards
This corresponds to what I have always found with OP boosters. When I was a kid trying to get the booster only characters was crazy hard. I never got a Wolverine, Spider-Man, and maybe a few others. Specials never really matched up either and Psylocke specials were hard to come by.
Hook it up, there are like 6 cards I'm missing from this set.
