So apparently he IS testing the market at $750

i think the only thing comic related that i would pay that much for would be original art by one of the masters...i.e. Jim Lee, Alex Ross, Mark Brooks, Ed Benes ,etc

I agree. The most I ever spent on anything comic related was $228 for Brave & Bold #28 back in 2001. Now if a decent JLA movie could be made I could cash in lol ;)
