Title: Adaptive Replicant
Post by: Tussin on January 16, 2014, 02:46:56 AM
i wanted to feature Vision in a deck and exploit him as best as possible. Callisto to search for Baron Mordo's activator to get Vision 8 Energy/Intellect, and i can also use Callisto to get Ghost Rider's DS to search for Vision's Android Endurance OPD. Serpent Crown to boost Storm:Neutralized after out of reserve. Crossing event to KO Callisto then bring Storm out to clone her specials.

i decided to make this into an Energy variant so i scrapped White Queen for Storm's OPD

you could make this into an Intellect variant to avoid all the Energy hate, but i would switch Spawn and Storm for possibly White Queen and any natural 8 Intell. would have 22 points to spend on last spot.

Homebase: Marvel Universe ~ Opponent's Team is -1 to Venture Total per Battle. ~

Team:
Vision                      5-4-6-6 (21) ~ May play "Android Endurance" from Reserve. ~
Spawn                    8-7-3-3 (21)
Callisto                   2-6-3-5 (16) ~ May play any "Morlocks" Special cards. May play "Caliban" from Reserve. ~
Storm:Neutralized  1-6-4-5 (16) ~ May play any "Morlocks" non-One-Per-Deck Special cards. ~

should i run any natural 8's of Intellect in this deck? i could switch Queen/Spawn out?

I think you would have to.  You can't include cards in your deck that are not playable without first playing some other card...or at least I think that's the rule, so if you wanted to include any Power Cards or Uni's over 6, I think you'd need a true 8 in the deck.

Professor X gets you an 8 and a 7, but i don't know if it's worth wheeling him around for the extra 3 cards in your deck..If you're going to go to all this trouble, your best bet might be to scrap callisto, let the activator come when it comes, and bring in a strong 8 in each category.
