I was wondering if anyone knew of or was interested in any kind of Overpower tournaments that happen on the west coast?
a few guys play casuals once a month in riverside california. gmi games.
I am from the Bay Area. A west coast overpower tournament would be awesome, but unfortunately most of us west coasters are spread out pretty far.
I'm not sure of the specifics, but I would be willing to look into it if there was enough interest. I was thinking we could try to make a big tournament in Vegas or something. Not just for people on the West Coast but anyone who would want to come out. I'm not sure how much it would cost to rent out a hall or something though :/
just dont do it evo weekend lol. i think id rather watch street fighter finals than play op lol.
OP Cup 2014 is being held in Columbus, OH August 1st and 2nd.
Columbus certainly isn't West Coast, but it is the closest yet. Most if not all of the east coast groups should be there. You should know that Marvels will be legal.
It would be great to a have a player or two from the west coast make the trip. People have been taking flights to get to events over here. Florida being the farthest so far.
Once a few start making the trip, we will have a full blown game again. After years of events on the east coast we decided to start the ratings up at our last event. Columbus will be the 2nd rated event.
