Ok, so i know that this may be a shot in the dark, although... i figured that i might ask anyway. I'm looking for a program from years ago that was used as a card database lookup utility, for helping with making a deck. I think that it might of called Deck'd or Decked or something of that nature. Ive also seen a similar program for Netrunner. Think that both of them were most likely coded with VB.
Can anyone recall this program, or know where i could possibly find a download link. Or share the file if you have it. I know that i'm not crazy. At least... not this week anyway...
are you talking about OPDeck? you can get that from Jack's site - Overpower.ca the downloads tab.
OverPowerOnline v2.5.3
i think i have the name confused. i know about that though Chuu. it was incorporated into OPonline. the current version i believe is up to 3.1 now, as of not thta long ago. As for the program, after a an hour or so more searching, i came up with the name... but cant find a download of it anywhere. googles returned results are practically useless because of their advertising filters.
OverPower Fact Finder
opff.zip is the file name that i usually see floating around.
I think theres a copy on Jacks site.
hypertextprotocolP:\\\\\.wideworldweb.Overpower.canadian is the link
I haven't heard of the OPFF. OPO 3.1 is a modified release. I'll check through my archives for any mention to that program.
Thanks Jack. OPFF was an ok utility. It was used to look up characters by individual stats, as well as other things. OPDeck is clearly the better program of the two. Id just like to be able to find OPFF since it was a program that i used back in the day.
Oh, as well i just wanted to know who the original writer of OPOnline was, as well as who is maintaining it now. I know that it is getting updates, but i assume that OPDeck isnt really being touched or worked on, just included in the package to use it as an external deck editor. On a funny related note... im actually talking to Norm. Just sent him a message last night about OverPower.
I believe the developers of OPO were CBader & JCTango. I spoke with JCTango recently (http://www.giantbomb.com/profile/jctango/blog/overpower-ccg/84359/) but nothing really came out of it. Someone's doing updates to the program and modifying the database to refresh the artwork and add in more cards.
