I wanted to stick all of the customs I've done in one post, just for my own tracking purposes. It's been a while since I looked at these...I'd love to find the time to tweak these and make the rest of the set that I designed, and maybe even some day see these printed.

When I quit working on these, I had a few more heroes in process - I changed computers so I have to wrangle all my files, particularly the fonts, which may take some finding/re-downloading...more info soon.
I've seen these in the other threads. I'm not too keen on the rounded corners, but I really like the style. Consistent with each other and good looking without copying the orignal formats too much. Plus they're not the run-of-the-mill legacy characters that have been done to death in some cases.
Glad to hear you have more planned.
Thanks for the feedback -
That's the first I've heard about the rounded corners....don't all of the cards have rounded corners? Hah...am I missing something?
No, you didn't miss anything. The legacy cards were cut with rounded corners (I assume for shuffing-with-minimal-damage reasons), and a lot of homemades do too. Then again, a lot of homemades are done with square corners. I suppose its a personal preference kind of thing.
Great work!
Thanks, man - you know, I always held the rounded corners as one of the things that made overpower sort of unique and I never really gave it a second thought.
I think if I ever did a print run, I'd want to do it with rounded corners, but maybe not...Definitely not something I'd ever thought of before.
Thanks!
