Title: Excel Overpower checklist?
Post by: Kyoujin on November 28, 2014, 07:04:24 AM
I'm looking for a complete checklist of Overpower cards in an Excel spreadsheet.  Does such a thing exist?

Thanks!

Interestingly enough, creating that spreadsheet is a project I started recently.  If someone has made some headway with it already, let me know...otherwise, I've already nailed down a special card checklist for Original, IQ, MC, and Powersurge - Is there a want/need for a complete checklist?  If so, I can spend some time working on it.

i'm thinking all the data can be pulled out of the Access database that OPonline uses.

Wow - great thinking!  If you're just trying to figure out what cards you have and what cards you're missing, then that would be easy!

If we're trying to include rarity, original set, and other stuff like that, then that information wouldn't be included in the OP Online database.

well ya, the database would just be a starting point so you wouldn't have to type in all that info...

I found my old Excel file on my XP system that I don't use but never got around to throwing out.  It does not have the Marvels, but at least it would save you some typing.
Unfortunately, the computer "cannot find the file path", so my attempt to attach it to this post failed.

As chuu suggested, I opened the .mdb file in Excel from OP online and that did the trick.
