Does anyone on here have templates and/or graphic elements (fonts, icons, special card borders) that are online somewhere to download? I'd like to take a shot at designing some custom cards in photoshop.
I've got some stuff that I can share - shoot me an email
I thought it was pretty easy.
The icons are downloadable (I think I got mine from the overpower.ca site). If you know Photoshop, it should be simple. 1. Open an existing card. 2. Add the icons as a separate layer on top of the card's icons. 3. Set your frame on the created layer. 4. Delete the layer of the original card. 5. Insert your picture as a layer below the icons. Text can be added at any point in the process on the icon layer. I've never learned to use Photoshop, but I've used Microsoft Visio to do this. The process is a little more involved, but no more difficult, though the quality is nowhere near what I usually see posted.
I use GIMP (available from gimp.org ... Not sure what comes up if you stArt googling 'gimp photos')
I emailed with KJ earlier this month, and I think he's got it covered, but if anyone wants access to my templates I'm happy to share - just shoot me an email.
Hi, I'd love some help making custom cards, strictly for nostalgia. I've been playing around with paint but I also never learned Photoshop. I'll google a few things but any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm interested in some templates as well! It would be great making fun cards without having to recreate the icons ect. I sent you an email. Thanks in advance!

Anyone who wants my Photoshop templates is welcome to send me a pm with their email. I'm willing to share any of my stuff along with the fonts. And instill work in Photoshop 7 so if you have access to any Photoshop you should be able to open my templates. And they are formatted very simply in layers and labeled well
