Title: Wolvie Style vs IA.
Post by: AO user on January 17, 2015, 06:32:32 PM
If wolvie style (Jubi's NG)  KOs scarlet witch there is no 5 point venture penalty.  What about non-KO hits?  What happens to longshot's or invisible woman's IA?  I don't rembrr if venture totaling is part of the battle or after the battle?  I would like to land it on clone or variant:  bloodstorm couldn't block it OR heal it with run from slaughter.  Could dark beast NOT negate it on his turn?  Is that right?

Quote from: http://overpower.ca/wiki/Inherent_Ability#The_Automatic_Venture_InherentInherent abilities that affect Venture require the character to be conscious and on the Front Line at the time that Venture Total is calculated.

Correct, the Inherent Ability would be considered void if the NG card hits.

OK. For fun: wolvie style landed on galactus. His IA lowers his 32 points to 24. That's removed by the NG.  Does that make the Galactus deck illegal (over sum deck) and renegs the game? LoL! We didn't play it that way, but....
