Another "true" newbie! A little more expensive sum-deck-wise than I might have expected, but I can't argue any of the stats.
Predatory Instinct is a fantastic late-game/pre-power-pack card. Depending on your power card build, it could be massive!
As for your comment on "then-trendy" characters, remember that the goal of the legacy creators was not for love of the game, or even being true or consistent with the comics, but to grab as much of our disposable income as possible. But all things seem to come back around at some point. I recently happened to see a "Lego DC" comics show, and Lex's main cohorts were Cheetah & Black Manta. Go figure...
Oh ya, a lot of classic characters have had something of a resurgence in popularity lately, what with all the cartoons, movies, TV shows, and video games. This is probably the best time for superhero fiction in the history of the genre, in terms of exposure. I just wish DC would trash this nu52 nonsense already. :/
