I was actually looking forward to seeing one of the Zoom personas. Given the TV series of the Flash, this a good time for it too. Though during the first season may have been better, given the hype of the Reverse Flash.
I'm not overly familiar with Flash and his enemies. Would you mind, or someone else familiar with the character, mind explaining why he might have such a high Energy? Is the speed force that monumentally powerful?

When he was initially created, Zoom just had all the powers of the Flash. But when Geoff Johns resurrected him in 2009, he was given a major upgrade in power level as the conduit of the Negative Speed Force. He can now create duplicates of himself like Bart Allen does, travel through time and alter it at will, completely erase people from time, advance or reverse his own aging process, and leech time off others, aging them while restoring his youth. I don't think he's quite on the Time Trapper's level, but the 8E is totally justified now. Plus, he's depicted as being faster than Barry even, with a much greater degree of control over his speed powers.
And ya, the Speed Force (or Thawne's Negative version of it), really is
that powerful. I mean, compromises have to be made for the sake of game balance, but the Flash is basically a god with all the things he can do. It may not seem like it from watching the TV show or whatever, but in the comics, Flash is easily on Superman's level. It's kind of absurd how powerful he is, and Zoom is even more so.
Wow, a 23 point character, too bad his cards aren't that great :(
On a side note, would it be possible to embed the images into the forum so that we don't have to go to the deviant art site?

Ya, I'm aware he's probably got the weakest array of cards in the whole DC set. Makes it hard to justify his cost, even with the 8, 7, and 6. I'm not quite happy with him as is, but I've been working on a couple ideas to beef him up a little. The handy thing about making cards digitally is that they're not written in stone and I can continuously make improvements.

I've been trying to avoid flooding the board with images because I post so many characters. But I can probably do that if you guys want. But also, I like taking the time to comment on every card I post because I think the hows and whys of my design philosophy are important. I just don't want people to miss out on that.
Glad you used the Eddie version (to go with Barry), as opposed to the Rival or the Hunter Solomon version.
Again, kind of high cost, but no argument here. (Actually Strength could be 3, but something had to go to keep him at 23.)
I think the ability to use a wide array of power and teamwork cards balances out any perceived weakness in the specials, but that's justa my opinion.
Thank you for the explanation OP3.
flashtastic
use him with any team flasher(but who goes in reserve?)
