summary: 14 characters – 5 male, 5 female, a bug, a dog, a raccoon, and a walking tree. quite the spread.
there were a number of characters that fit into the "Infinity Watch/Guardians of the Galaxy" grouping that I chose not to do:
Adam Warlock, Iron Man, Kitty Pryde (Shadowcat) and Ben Grimm (Thing) were all legacy characters, who have had more than enough cards made for them.
i considered Agent Venom, but he's still legacy as Venom. while the Flash Thompson version is a little different from the Eddie Brock or Mac Gargan versions (maybe shift a Fighting point to Intellect, and add an Energy attack special for his shoulder rockets), he's still basically Venom. many people have added to his card number as well.
Captain Marvel: Carol Danvers has been done under that name, as Carol Danvers, and three times as Ms. Marvel. no need to glom on here, either.
finally, Maxam. i confess i just couldn't find enough usable art for him to take a stab. but he was a short-timer, relatively.

Awesome. I never even thought about Jack Flag. Nice choice.
I never thought about a modified OPD AA special. I might have to steal that. I don't really know much about Jack Flag as to the appropriateness of the specials. But they look pretty good.
So Stars and Stripes would be Anypower and Intellect attacks right? Nice thematic wording though.
I've got to avoid a closer look at the Phyla-Vell, Angela and Mantis for now.
Who is Maxam?
Stars & Stripes prevents fighting, anypower, and intellect attacks. you can still hit him with energy and strength, and specials with no icons. i wanted it to be non-OPD, but it was too strong, so i added the DTR to make it more OPD-worthy. it would be especially devistating if Not Intimidated was in play!
Maxam was sent back to the past to stop Adam Warlock when he turned into Magus. he & Gamora never got along. he'll make a decent aspect card for Monster Isle Castle if i ever find a suitable work-around for the 3-D text. see below for two comic pics.

OK, I wasn't sure if you were going for fighting with that wording or not. I see Fighting as Orange not Red so you might end up with people thinking its just Anypower and Intellect.
But I like it.
