Title: Overpower Core Set
Post by: Photonicide on February 13, 2018, 09:09:17 PM
So I have been making a lot of decks as I play with my Max Six (http://www.maxsixoverpower.com) expansion and I got tired of having to move all of my Any Character cards from one deck to another. I decided the put together a core set of cards of what I consider to be the most used cards.

Check out my website (http://maxsixoverpower.com/core-set/) to see all of the cards and to download them. I also had them professionally printed. If you are interested in a set, feel free to email me at MaxSixOverpower@gmail.com

Thanks to fennshysa for the card templates!

nice work, with some good art choices.  unfortunately for me, there's nothing in these new cards that i haven't seen already done; but i do understand why you made them.

i'm confused on some seeming contradictory things:
a) the rules say cards that affect Any Character cards or Activators can affect either; you have DoW banned.
b) DoW & Power Leech are banned; you recreated them (Power Leech as Infinity Gauntlet).
c) the rules say the level 5 MultiPower Power card is non-OPD; you remade it as OPD.
d) The Power Balance rules have level 6-8 AnyPower Power cards as non-OPD; you made them OPD.

Thanks for looking over these Justa!

I remade the cards so that they are functionally identical to the original cards (with some meta rule updates, like the level 7 AnyPower card is a OPD). I like to play with every rule that I have posted on my Max Six site but I know that not everyone will. By making the cards identical to the original, players can still pick and choose which new rules to apply.  :D

I have updated my website to talk about this so that others won't be confused either.

in that case, per meta-rule Infinity Gauntlet (legacy Power Leech) should read "Target Character" instead of 'Opponent".

Whoops! You are correct, thanks for catching that!

Wow! Looks really cool. May I ask where you got them printed again?
