these cards seemed familiar, so i looked around on this site. you posted a version (text only) some 10 years ago. some of the mechanics have been tweaked, which IMHO makes for a better build.
did you ever make the cards for Pixie and Magik from that post?
Indeed you are right! I tried to balance things out slightly more, and I think these land a little better. Although, I've been thinking to maybe rework art/name to captain marvel to allow for the kamala Ms. Marvel without as much confusion....
Still working on Magik and Pixie, as well as Sage and Hope...just got photoshop working on my computer again, so editing should go a good bit easier once I find images!!
it's pretty easy to tell from the art the difference between Carol Danvers & Kamala Khan. i make the same divisions for Cyborg (Vic Stone of Teen Titans & JLA VS. Hank Henshaw's Cyborg Superman) and the Spiderwomen (Jessica Drew, Julia Carpenter {also Arachne}, and Gwen Stacy), for example. its harder for other character (like Venom Eddie Brock VS Mac Gargan).
Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers version) is actually among the top 20 character versions (with specials) that i have seen homemade cards created for. Add to that the Cap Mar-Vell (publisher specific) cards, Specials for generic Carol Danvers (thanks chuu), and variant character versions of Binary & Warbird (no specific specials for either), and it all comes down to.... they're your cards, do what you think/feel is right.
