Title: PowerSurge Box
Post by: Palatinus on April 12, 2011, 08:56:19 AM
According to this auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220763010296&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT the booster box has 36 packs of 15 cards.  I thought PowerSurge only ever came in 9 card packs.  Is this auction accurate?

I don't know if this auction is accurate, but I have had Powersurge boosters packs with 15 cards in them.

Booster boxes only have 9 cards per pack. The special, guessing Wal-Mart ones, with Juggernaut on the packs had 15 each.

The Jumbo packs with 17 cards, produced for both the original set and Powersurge, were sold in outlets like Walmart and crop up on e-bay quite frequently (or used to). GDMJr listed boxes of 24 packs of 17 count cards for both on his checklist but I've never seen either. This box, however, looks identical to a regular Powersurge box and has the same item number at the top left - Item 257. The count on the top right says 36ct. so this is a regular box.

Just out of curiosity does anybody have an image of the 24 ct boxes?
