I would wager most folks would be willing to travel somewhat for tourneys, since there seems to be so few of us left. It would depend on time of year, how much notice is given, and what savings are in the coffers that I can steal to make the trip worth while. If I could get my wife interested and playing, that would help things a great deal too. lol
It's an 8 hour drive for us Toronto folk, but it wouldn't be impossible to arrange a road-trip. I have a passport, so I'm good to cross the border, but I can't speak for the others.
Obviously, the more advance notice the better for us.

What if 1st prize was a set of IQ, Classic, or X-Men?
A set of X-men would definitely be an awesome enticement. ;D
As I said, a little warning and a bunch of us Toronto types could make the trip.
Orange King might be willing to come too. He commutes regularly from Buffalo to Philly. I'll pass a note to him to see if he's up for something like that.
Did you have a tentative date in mind?

I concur! :P If it was in the middle I could possibly get a chance to come out. As of right now my only issue would be getting off multiple days from work for a long trip.
I might be able to come to this tournament, it'll depend on when it's held.
I'll also try my best to bring my video recording equipment too to record the matches.
I live in Baltimore. I would attend, and even if the tournament doesn't happen, email me to meet up for a game, bro!
