Title: October 2012 Toronto OverPower Tournament
Post by: Jack on September 09, 2012, 10:11:30 PM
We're going to be doing a tournament on October 20th at Dueling Grounds. Hot Rod is the host for this tournament and he'll be offering up: Batman: Detective, Complete Assault on Onslaught missions and 2 Hideout Discovered.

Rules:
Standard OverPower Legion rules.
Proxies are allowed provided they are direct facsimiles of the real card and in colour.
"Accidental inserts" are allowed.
25 minutes per round, with one last-hand played after that.
Must use Deck protectors.

Entry:
I'll get confirmation, but it's likely going to be a 4 swiss rounds + 3 elimination rounds tournament. Entry fee is $10 and there will be a draw for an OverPower t-shirt or two. There will also be a surprise entry gift that is exclusive to our meetups. We will also be (hopefully) selling the Marvels expansion to those who have placed orders for pick up.

Please remember that there is no food allowed at Dueling Grounds, drinks are fine I believe.

Yeah, they're purty.

And since they're zero per deck, I'll make sure to put many in each of my decks. After all Jack, any number times zero is zero... therefore no matter how many I put in, there will always be zero in that deck...  ;D   (see what I did there?)

Seriously, Since the 20th is drawing near, I'm going to set up another 'Horse Race' for a free set of Megapower promos. So get ready to pick your horse!
