Can I discard three cards into the dead pile multiple times before Events are played, or is it a once per turn effect?

Per artifact?  Are you implying that I can have more than one or are there other artifacts with the same effect?

There's nothing restricting you from playing more than one on a character so I assume it's legal to discard 6 to heal 2 hits with 2 Sieges.
