One of my favorite things about Overpower, is when I see completely unique Special cards. So, there's the question: in the officially released cards (no The Marvels) how many unique Special cards are there?

For example, AA is not unique, since tons of people have it.
BI, however, is unique, as only Colossus got this card (SMH @ lost potential)

aaaaaand... GO!

119 if you don't count Marvels (BI, CJ, CO, CV, CX, DA, DE, DF, DJ, DN, DW, DX, EC, ED, EF, EH, EO, EP, ER, ES, EU, EW, EY, FF, FH, FI, FJ, FK, FM, FN, FO, GE, GH, GK, HA, HC, HD, HJ, HM, HP, HS, HV, HW, HZ, IA, JD, JE, JG, JL, JN, JO, JP, JQ, JR, JT, JV, JX, KA, KE, KF, KG, KI, KJ, KM, KN, KO, KP, KQ, KR, KS, LB, LD, LE, LH, LJ, LK, LM, LN, LP, LR, LS, LW, ME, MG, MJ, MK, ML, MM, MN, MO, MP, MT, MU, MV, MY, MZ, NA, NB, NC, ND, NE, NF, NH, NL, NM, NN, NP, NQ, NR, NS, NT, NY, NZ, OA, OB, OC, OD, OE, ZZ)

121 if you count Marvels (CJ, CO, CV, CX, DA, DE, DF, DJ, DN, DW, DX, EC, ED, EF, EH, EO, EP, ER, ES, EU, EW, FF, FH, FI, FJ, FM, FO, FP, FQ, FR, FS, FU, FV, FW, FY, GE, GH, GK, GM, HA, HC, HD, HJ, HM, HP, HS, HV, HW, HZ, JD, JE, JG, JL, JN, JO, JP, JQ, JR, JT, JV, JX, KA, KE, KF, KG, KI, KJ, KM, KN, KO, KP, KQ, KR, KS, LB, LD, LE, LH, LJ, LK, LM, LN, LP, LR, LW, ME, MG, MJ, MK, ML, MM, MN, MO, MU, MV, MY, MZ, NA, NB, NC, ND, NE, NF, NH, NL, NM, NP, NQ, NS, NY, NZ, OE, OG, OH, OI, OK, OM, OP, OQ, OR, ZZ)

This is with the corrections (to Longshot's "AV" -> "CV").

Damn Jack!  Were you just WAITING for that question?  lol That was all of 12 minutes.

Jack

This is actually a very simple database question, didn't take me more than 2 minutes.

So The Marvels only brought in 2 new unique cards?  Mr. Fantastic's and Spider-Man's. Did we ever figure out what Thing's Marvels special should be coded?  It shares a code with DoW, but has the same ability as Finite Power.

Well, the Marvels had some cards that were only unique for the previous sets (Colossus' BI was copied by Heroes for Hire).

Marvels added: FP, FQ, FR, FS, FU, FV, FW, FY, GM, OG, OH, OI, OK, OM, OP, OQ, OR (17)
Marvels duplicated: BI, EY, FK, FN, IA, LS, MP, MT, NN, NR, NT, OA, OB, OC, OD (15)

Net: 2

I left Thing's special with OD but that's probably a question we should figure out before we get the prints done. I would argue it's ZY so it lines up with Spawn's card.

That was the first thing I thought when I read this.  The man is prepared for anything overpower!  ;D
Beta Ray Bill makes a WHOLE lot more sense at Avengers Mansion than Beyonder showing up and helping out during a fight. - breadmaster
