This thread is awesome, but increasingly inaccurately named.

Yes, the thread is currently in 3rd place behind Ultimate Evil (over 32K reads) and Set of Marvels (over 29K reads).  Yes they are great cards (I love them).  But is there a point to THIS thread?
(The number of reads can be easily manipulated.  Put out a few cards at a time (vice boom! a set all at once) and people need to keep coming back more often to check.  Repeatedly opening & closing the thread also increases reads.)
I prefer to concentrate on the cards, not how many times someone clicked a button.

While I really appreciate Steve creating this thread for me but i don't think it's necessary.  I just need to update/edit my posts more often so that all the cards are visible more of the time instead of having to scroll through several pages to find what you're looking for.  Having said that, my signature has a link to the post with my newest set and i'll also make another link to my power cards.  I also agree that it doesn't matter how many times a thread is viewed so when I release cards I do large batches (5-20 cards) and not post one card at a time.

the 13629 was the number of reads when i copyed then edited the original page 6 (for me) leaving it intact

Don't take what I said as a reason to change a thing, chuu.  Progressive disclosure (a few at a time) is just as good as a fait accompli (whole set at once), and can lead to getting more detailed feedback.  I've got no problems with what you've done or how you're doing it, and the cards are wonderful.
I didn't understand the reason steve started this thread, still don't, and am fine & happy with that at this point.  I'm just an old fart that loves the content and couldn't care less how many "hits on the page".  I'll shut up & go back to my rocking chair now.

Now you see where PART of the nickname came from!  Add my last name & some Louis Armstrong (or the so-so remake by David Lee Roth), stir in a dash of Peter Wolf for extra flavor, and there you have it!
