Longtime OP customs maker here. About 4 years ago i dumped a bunch of my custom cards made over the years on here. Recently I've been motivated to clean up and consolidate my cards. In the lines of what OP3 has done (nice by the way!) I'm going to 'release' a few whole sets.
My Marvels set will contain all the unreleased Marvels cards, some revised specials from the first few sets and some new Characters, Specials, Locations and Aspects.

I really have no desire to modify the rules any but some of the original set characters ended up with some pretty lame specials for being the iconic characters of the universe. (i'm looking at you shift one attack specials, and avoid 1 energy attack, etc....) I've just upgraded some of those specials, usually in the same theme of what they do, just better. Most of the characters and specials i've added tend to be from the 1990-2005 era.

The Absolute Evil set will be simply the villain equivalent of the Marvels set .

I'm going to be posting a lot of what i've already done and asking for suggestions on some.

Cannonball Would love some better art.
Cloak & Dagger Cloak's teleporting is represented in the Inherent.
Darkhawk Darkhawk's original ability to heal when he switched bodies is what the Inherent is for.
Domino Because her powersurge was an 8 and it was a visually stunning piece of art.
Firestar
Hulk: Savage He needed a stronger version.
Iron Fist I went back and forth between 7 or 8 here but chose the 8.
Meltdown
Mimic Yes he's powerful, but he was. Wait til you see his specials.
Moon Knight
Nova While i tried to avoid newer stuff, most of Nova's interesting growth and artwork comes from newer stories, so his hero and specials reflect a more current version than anything else in overpower.
Shatterstar
Silver Surfer Because he was woefully underpowered. I know the 2 8's is generally not approved of but its my card.
Spider-Man 2099
Tigra  My background skills need work.
Warpath My background skills need work. Warpath borrows a little from more recent stories for his character and specials too.
Wasp
Wonder Man My background skills need work.

Adam Warlock. His Marvels card. A Grid modifier card and if there was ever a character who deserved a resurrection special, it's him.

Blink. Yeah! Focused more on her Exiles run than on her AoA origins. Mimic from Exiles also gets a card and an Exiles Location, Aspect and Artifact will be in the set. There will be one more special for 6 Eventually.

i guess i'll say welcome (back)!  i've seen your work before, though i don't think it was on this site.
i like the updated versions, especially using the yellow/orange background with the black text.  (as opposed to the white text on the red or purple background.  the gray backgrounds with black text were ok though.)
i did find a few new ones that i didn't get before.  a lot to go through.
only obvious comments - Bishop's Draw Enemy Fire was missing the character name, and some of the links on your post don't work.  but once you get into photobucket, all the cards are easy to access.

not sure why you can't double post, but you can't.  what you can do is edit the previous post to add additional items.  it won't show up on the main custom cards page, but it will when the post is read.

I added some more specials to the first post.
Here are most of the Character cards that will be in my Marvel's set.
Exiles, X-Force, New Warriors and West Coast Avengers make up the majority of the characters.

i would rather see Cloak & Dagger as separate characters, as they did work separately for a time.  but the concept works as is justa fine.  i feel the same for Avalanche & Pyro, but as you pointed out, they're your cards.  love seeing new characters (with specials, of course), and new takes on old characters as well.  i especially like your version of Spidey 2099!

one more for the "oops" column - Firestar's Blazing Angel is missing the 7 AnyPower icon in the upper left corner.

Thank you. They're usually a team so i thought it would be neat to do a combo character. But at one point i had rough versions of them separately.  Originally my plan was to have Dagger's Specials and Cloaks Specials all be non-OPD and have the OPD specials be Cloak & Dagger.  But that didn't really work out. Avalanche and Pyro ended up that way as a villain version of C&D, plus the artwork had them together and I didn't know if i could come up with enough cards for them separately.
I fixed the firestar one.

There will be lots of new Villain specials but they are coming more slowly Since i didn't have previous versions of many of them.  They have to come from scratch.

Specials continued here. Since i exceeded the maximum length in my first post.

Elektra's Specials didn't cry out for revision as much as some others did. But she got 3 Revised Specials anyway.
