I'm working on a set of homemades for "The Crow". Don't like the border on the special card, so I'm looking for feedback. Just finished the 2 so far.

Thx,

I like where you're going with it. I will say, it seems that his grid should be 8 for offense, though. Considering all the attacking he did in that movie, compared to the amount of defending himself...

As for the border, it seems that having some kind of textured effect always helps it stand out a little more.

Thanks Nick, the border is definitely a work in progress. I'm not an especially skilled/creative photoshop user, so I'm hoping more of our talented forum members give me some ideas.  ;D

While you make a valid point about the character in the movie, it should be noted that I'm working from the O'Barr graphic novel, which predates the movie. Hence, I'm trying to capture the idea that he is "unkillable". His fighting skills, IMO don't match up to the Batmans and Captain Americas of the comic world, but he should be able to "defend" himself from their attacks. Plus, I'm going to be giving him a OPD that says he cannot be spectrum K.O.d for the remainder of the game (ala the Marrow special card), to further enhance his "toughness". I should have a couple more done tonight.

Interesting take on the character.  Maybe some "mystical" powered specials as well.  Or was that just the TV show?
I personally find the specials easier to read without a texture (eyes are going), but a simple, "not-too-busy" one might work.  Keep the colors, though.  The contrast helps.
IMHO of course.

Here are the remaining specials. Yes, "mystical" powers included!  ;D
