Most Overused Card

I've been noticing more and more people are saying certain cards are overused, and/or I've been reading blogs about cards getting used constantly. Now, don't get me wrong I am in no way saying any of these cards are horrible and should be removed from OP, I'm just curious about everyone's opinions.

Me, I love the X-Babies and I will probably continue to throw them in off and on until the day I quit OP because I liked the comic (yeah, I said it - get over it  :P).

Also, I do have a Beyonder, but I can never seem to get myself to play him - I feel like he is everywhere and in everything. I almost feel like it would even be an entirely different game without him.

Thoughts ?

i like Hawkeye (from Reserve) and  Spider-Woman (from Reserve)

As do I. I like most of the cards on my list - but IMP most are overused or are used as crutches for deckbuilding.

I've heard that a lot from posts on here - but I havent had to play against it much at all (very very little in fact) so I dont have feelings in either direction for it....

I honestly don't mind any of the character cards being used to the max. I feel like this game is so dependent on synergy that you can make a lot of different line-ups work well. BBH's Trick-Or-Treat team is one the most unique teams I've ever seen and it works really well. Breadmaster also made a surprise team with Puppet Master ( :o) that did very well in an OPO tournament awhile back (I think he even won w/it).

So, you want to use X-Babies a lot? Go for it. You want to make a team with Invisible Woman, Spawn, Scarlet Witch, and Spider-Woman in reserve? Go for it. Because I've seen enough successful, off-the-wall, unique teams to balance that out.

Having said that,
I'm tired of seeing The Outback battlesite.
I'm tired of seeing Devourer Of Worlds.

I say that because I feel like these are cards/effects you can throw onto almost any deck to make it better. There have been a lot of games where I genuinely think I would've won, had I been using DoW and that makes me sad because I just can't bring myself to use such a pivotal card.

The Outback is mostly obnoxious because I feel like it's so vanilla. Like, "Oh, I need some more defense, so let's just throw in The Outback." It seems like The Outback doesn't so much complement a strategy, as much as it provides an "out" for a deck. But, honestly, this one bugs me MUUUCH less than DoW.

I actually used the X-Babies on the team when I played Cyclops in Reserve   ;)

I did realize today that DoW is one of my favorite cards in the entire game......to trade  :P I always seem to end up with most of the cards that I need for my collection when I get and trade a DoW.
