i may have Cosmo's grid hosed, but i think its close.  despite his playfulness at times (canine instincts coming forward), i boosted his intellect due to his telepathy & resources.  i didn't want to land him at 15 total, because i didn't feel he warranted a kick-ass IA (like an X-Babies).  here's another character meant for reserve, but i think functional either way.



At The Feet Of Greatness (HT) [OPD} Choose 1 Special card not usable by Cosmo from Draw Pile and place in hand.  May not be an OPD.  May be duplicate.  Reshuffle Draw Pile.  May be played from Reserve.

Illusion Blast (JH) Acts as a level 5 Intellect attack.  If successful, Target Character is -2 to defense for remainder of battle.

Knowhere Security Chief (IF) Play when either player concedes battle.  Cosmo may discard any cards in hand on top of Draw Pile. May be played from Reserve.

Mental Paralysis (AZ) Opponent may not attack Cosmo for remainder of battle unless Cosmo attacks first.

Psionic Powers (CC) Act as a 7 AnyPower Power card. May be used to attack or defend.  May not be combined with other cards.

Telepathic Defense (DP) [OPD] Avoid 1 attack containing an icon.  Opponent may not use cards containing the attacking icon(s) for remainder of battle.

Tipping The Scales (BG) [OPD] Team gains +2 to all actions for remainder of battle.  Draw 1 card.  Discard if duplicate.  May be played from Reserve.

I like! I was only going to use Cosmo as my Aspect card for the Knowhere location so i looked at these ones.

I think the 6 Intellect is OK since he is a telepath and a pretty strong one so there is no problem with the 6 Energy either. At The Feet Of Greatness is well done! Makes perfect sense for the ability and picture. The rest are good too. The only 1 i question is "tipping the scales". Team +2 to all actions is a pretty good card. There are only two BGs in the legacy cards as it is. All the rest of the modifier specials are more limited than Mavericks and Professor X's. Adding the draw 1 card AND Play from Reserve seems like maybe a bit much. One or the other, maybe? Eh, my 2 cents.

i really do appreciate the help in reigning me in!
you have a valid point.  while the DTR isn't a guarantee (besides doubles & unusables, i lost a decent Event or 3 from this mechanic), it is too great a boost.  so after much thought, i modified it to DTR only if negated - no waste of station resources if it doesn't succeed.
