On Facebook, there are two Duncan Yuen, one's from Richmond Hill. Any idea if it's him?

Yeah, that's probably him. Last I heard he was living in Richmond Hill.

It would be awkward for me to approach him, being somewhat 'new' to OverPower. Should I bother?

Yes, that's Duncan Yuen on the left. Being on a card was one of the main prizes for the 1998 Nationals. A sign of the times, Cherie took home $5000 in 1997.

On the right hand side I can't name everyone but that's Norman Barth in the center (red shirt). Ron Perraza is in the Marvel shirt. It doesn't look like him to me but he drew it so he should know. On the other side of Norm is Drew Tabb.

Kathy Probe is in front and one of the other women may be Jessica Rose but I don't know what she looked like (she did some web stuff).

Is that Nick Williams behind and between Drew and Norm?

I'm lurking anonymously in dark glasses at the back. I don't know who the guy in the yellow shirt is. I always assumed the guy at the back in the tie was Dan Buckley who was a supporter of OP at Marvel but I've seen pictures of him since and he doesn't look like that so I don't know who this is either.

No, I'm the guy on the right in the yellow shirt.  Ron didn't have a picture of me to draw from, but somehow he found a picture someone took at a tournament.  So I guess he captured my game face...
The guy behind Norm and Drew should be Jeff, I think.

Ahh, sorry about that. But good to see you here. I only started posting here recently and it's been a fun trip down memory lane.

The name Terri Calpino (or something like that) came to me last night as another woman associated with OverPower. Would this be the third woman in the picture? I think she was project manager but may have been long gone by the Team team overpower was done.

Hey, Dan Buckley is still the publisher.  Someone tell him people still talk about OverPower!  Maybe he can convince some company to give it another whirl!   :D

I know my dad wants to do a new game, but I'm not sure if the original rights are attainable.  Marvel has some obscure doctrine of keeping every last bit of intellectual property.  They'll still be holding onto those rights long after the sun has gone cold.

He was going to give it another kick at the can and write Dan Buckley a letter, though I'm unsure if he's done so yet.

It's probably a good time to bring this topic back from the dead:

http://overpower.ca/wiki/Team_OverPower

I've gathered some more information, mostly through this thread and from Mike Sutton (Pass the Gestalt). I'm now missing 3 names and I'm pretty positive on the other 8.

I've also gathered that another possible name is Jeff Briel (as mentioned in Mission Statement Vol 1 Num 1). Drew Tabb is also a name mentioned above. Mike has pointed out that is indeed Dan Buckley so Drew is likely not that person.
