making a combo deck centered around Havok attacking... he gets a +1 to a majority of the characters people play...so ideally i want a battlesite that can combo attacks together with a bonus as well and team that can offer specials up for his use?

An "AO user" like holocaust or beast back up or bring new TWs to team or 3 grid invisible woman fits, brings FEs, and ADs.  Can you play witchblade on havoc so he can throw 8E with TW or straight up 9?...oh, I see you chose crystal.   Nice!... It'll be awhile before spidey woman get witchbladed

Love me some Havok decks! One of my favorite underrated OP characters.

Just skimmed over it for a few seconds, but a few things i noticed was your only using one Rescue Operation? I'de remove Spider-Womans OPD and run 3 of those bad boys if i could. Two at the very least. Especially since your in need of some defense.

Also love me some Mutant X... Gotta add another one of those in there. Catch your opponent slippin and its a battle-winning card.

Also, Consider another teamwork or two. 3 Seems light, especially in a deck whos main theme involves giving bonuses to your attacks.

Not sure what I would remove to add those cards in though, without really giving it much thought. I suspect like you said, there is a better character to fit more into this decks needs than Crystal. Maybe Scarlet Witch or Holocaust... Even X-Man.

hmm thanks for suggestions... i had a few more but i wanted to see if i could trim it close to 56 cards... but with this deck i may have to go over the limit to squeeze everything nice in :)

yeah.. i only went with Spider-Woman and Witchblade as an afterthought... i really don't want anyone to really be dying so easily... i switched her to 3 stat and increased her defense specials to give my front line longer life.

i could switch Crystal to Shadowking... and run Crossing event to KO Shadowking after giving special access to Havok... so he is almost in essence a cheaper Beyonder.

the one reason i want someone with 6+ Intellect would be to Linkstone their 7 or higher valued attacks to cross onto Havok so he boosts them +1 with my attacks and maybe higher if used in conjunction with ID or DG specials jumping over any 9 or less walls, forcing them to negate or avoid as their only hope. with Crystal she had the big OPD's but didn't have the 6 Intellect to run the Linkstone artifact, so i need to swap her out.

i have 20 points to spend on my last character.

my biggest concern from my opponent ever is them negating my (MF) opd by Spawn that gives special access to Havok or whoever i combo that card from.

Invisible Woman has good defense specials
Holocaust has negate and good specials
X-Man has good specials
Mysterio could linkstone his specials with Spawn's opd and gives my attacks another level of difficulty (BK)
Adam Warlock could linkstone his specials with Spawn's opd and make Havok a 1v1 god
Baron Mordo could linkstone his specials with Spawn's opd and give defense and negate, 8E to Havok
Mojo built in negate with good stats, decent specials
Donald Pierce good specials with negate and pre-negate (GL)
Green Goblin gives everyone access to 7S and 1E ID

i can make Goblin and Pierce fit into deck easier with Serpent Crown giving them 7E to defend themselves


Mysterio and Adam Warlock would be better picks if the legion reboot set was tournament legal with their (AO) negates they receive in that set. :)

what about iceman or dr.strange
both have teammate protection specials
iceman fills in the energy  fighting and strength spectrum with havok

Iceman is a good suggestion actually. i may have to try him, just wish he had a 6 Intelligence as well ha ha :)
