Killers: Born & Made set

I meant to post this the other day, but I had to leave the computer in a hurry and I didn't finish. Fortunately I save it. Apologies for not getting finished with Witchblade, I'll come back and cover her. I'm copy-pasting what was on the screen a couple of days ago. Hopefully it's useful, everyone has been great with feedback for me and I always feel I'm not adequately returning the favor.



Ok, so this is my nit-picky set review. Not trying to overstep here, please take this as constructive feedback.

Cyber - Character card has the previously mentioned misspelled Intellect.

Pain & Suffering - I might phrase the second clause thusly: Cards which are usable by Cyber may be played as attacks, unusable cards are discarded.

Hallucinogenic Drug - I can understand if you don't want to include the opening clause "Acts as a" before the level of attack, but after the "if successful" you don't specify whether it's Cyber or the target who may not attack or defend (I would assume the target?).

Assassin for Hire - Is either missing the word "avoid" or "make" before "attack of 9 or less". I'd guess avoid?

Psychotic Rage - Needs a space between "any" and "power", probably? I actually don't know if that's one word in OP jargon.

Psychic Control - Where it says "one fighting attack" it would be in line with other AE specials to say "one fighting card". But this is your set, and as long as the language is self-consistent, I see no need for it to be strictly in line with the game as printed.

Not a Scratch - Looks good. Can't find anything to nit-pick here.

No Restraints - Maybe capitalize "reserve". Also, the strength icon is a little low, it is starting to run into the character name.

Lethal Training - The fighting icon is a little low, it is starting to run into the character name.

Deal with the Devil - Looks good. Isn't there another OP card called "Deal With The Devil" though? Might get confusing if there is.

Pitt - I didn't notice the "kill or be killed" in the lower right of Pitt before. Awesome! He looks good. No nit-picks.

Widow Maker - Says "peranent" instead of "permanent".

Sixth Sense - Looks good. No nit-picks.

Hunger for Pain - Nothing again.

Cunning Savage - The ability text is floating a little far to the left into the fighting icon.

Boom Stick - Is it supposed to say "powercard" and not "power card"? Otherwise it looks great!

Bled Out - First, is this "Bled Out" or "Bleed Out"? "powercards" is all one word here, so ignore the previous comment. Internal consistency is king!

Big Brother - I think you want the "b" in "brother" capitalized.

Miss Sinister - Awesome!

Black Queen - I think there should be a period at the end of the first sentence in the ability text.

Cloning Process - Place is capitalized, but play isn't. Is that intentional?

Cold-Hearted Enemy - Seems fine, nothing I can see to nit-pick.

Mental Override - Yup, also fine.

DNA Implants - Totally boss.

Sinister Seduction - Should "special" be capitalized?

Diamond Form - Looks good.

The Hellfire Clubs - All look good!

Daken - Looking good... nothing to nit-pick here...

Animalistic Healing - Should probably have an apostrophe in "Dakens" to be "Daken's".

Hi Dad - Looks good.

Hulk Buster - Looks good. Didn't know Daken kicked the snot out of Skaar, Son of Hulk. That's cool. I want to read that.

Target File - Looks good, there's no apostrophe so maybe Animalistic Healing is fine too.

Umm... No - Looks great!

Vengeance - Looks good. I hated Franken-Castle. That was the worst. I'm glad Daken apparently diced him up.

Dark Wolverine - Maybe capitalize "Level" in the first line?

Hidden Claws - Ditto.

Death's Head II - Looks solid.

P-38 - Looks good.

I'll Be Back - Also looks good.

Hand Cannon - Boss.

Evade - Has two periods at the end after "attack".

Double Tap - Looks good.

Cranial Siphon - Yup, also good.

Blowback - Neat. Looks good.

Biomech Apparatus - Also looks good.

Witchblade - RAWR! She's so OP! Just kidding, she's awesome, but triple-7's on defense is totally amazing.

The Darkness - There's no period in the ability text.

Thanks for the feedback doktor. Ill address them all when I get time this next week. Never seems to be enough time in the day these last week to even touch the set. Sigh... All in good time I guess. Thanks again.

Heavy handed stats & specials, but we know where you're coming from, cyber.  But another character I've never seen done!  Impressive!
(I'd put him in the 19-21 total point range, on the lower end with an IA like that.)
