Gladiator - justa for fun!

Last is Gladiator.  His character card has been done several times, but never with any specials.  bios did a version with a Shi'ar specials IA, but I thought Marvel's version of Superman deserved more than that.  My IA attempts to compensate for (or nerf) the 24 point total, and is meant to reflect his confidence issues.  And he still has bios' IA as an HI Special.  Due to my own indecision, I gave him 2 extra Special cards.



Annihilators (*BW) Opponent must discard the top 5 cards of the Draw Pile and top 3 cards of the Power Pack into the Dead Pile.

Fierce Opponent (KT) Target Character may not attack for remainder of battle or until Target or teammate attacks this Special card.  Attack may not be defended, and does not count toward Venture Total.

Hotter Than A Star (*AS) Acts as a level 8 Energy attack +1 for each hit on Gladiator.

Loyal Protector (KC) All attacks by Opponent's Team must be made against Gladiator until he is KO'd or or cannot be attacked, or the battle ends.

Majestor (DS) Choose 1 Gladiator Special card from the Draw Pile and place in hand.  Cannot be a duplicate.  Reshuffle the Draw Pile.

Praetor Of The Imperial Guard (HI) Gladiator may place and play any Shi'ar Special cards for reminder of game.

Strontian Strength (GR) Avoid 1 attack with a Strength icon.  Remove 1 hit with an equal or lesser value from Gladiator.  May affect Venture Total.

Warp Speed (HY) Acts as a level 6 Strength attack.  If successful, Opponent must discard 2 cards of Opponent's choice.  Cards may be Placed or in hand.

Weapon Of The Shi'ar Empire (*LT) Acts as a level 5 MultiPower attack +1 for each card in Gladiator's Completed Missions Pile.
