Hello All!

I put together some Level 0 Power cards as I love the idea of strengthening max 6 stat characters. I have seen some different rules about them from NEO (https://sites.google.com/site/neogamerules/) and from the Emporium http://justabgkid.com/emporium/ae-0powercards.html but I have altered them slightly. They will count as duplicates of level 7 and 8 Power cards but will receive double bonus from Universe cards. Also, you may draw a card and discard duplicates after playing a level 0 power card. These are meant to be played with the rule variant that makes all Basic Universe and Universe Training cards OPDs with the addition of them drawing you a card, discarding duplicates, after using one of them. With these two rules I think you can see how this can help max 6 teams without making them overpowered.

interesting way to use basic U cards.
i've never played by a rule variant that allowed Any Character cards to be used with a Battlesite.  its always been either one or the other, but never both.

That makes sense Justa. There is already a card that fills this slot, Any Homebase. By changing to this, I was also able to add a clarifying line about universe cards  :D. It also fits in better with using the Multiverse for an any hero/character battle site.

That works better. I like those 0 level power cards, pretty neat.

Really nice frame on the cards too!

Thanks! I like displaying them with the frames as they feel more like cards but I have them without the border and some bleed around the perimeter to print them. I know that this will make it better for your method (http://www.beenhereandthere.com/SMF/custom-cards/what-to-print-on/msg23610/#msg23610) of printing the cards because if your alignment is off you will see the white border.

while i like your change in card type, i still have to edit what i said earlier.  what i SHOULD have said is ~"either Any Character Specials or Activators".  a Battlesite IS required if using Any Character cards when playing by OP3 rules (https://overpower-3rd.deviantart.com/journal/).
also, check out the Swarm strategy in the Emporium (justabgkid's site) if you want to use a max-6 team.  we tried playing with all 3 of the completed strategies (Rush, Burn, & Swarm).  Swarm was the hardest to learn to use, but once we finally figured out how to build a decent deck with it, it performed as well as any other.

I followed what you were saying :D. I like OP3's and Power Ballance's rules on battlesites, which is why I threw together the Multiverse battlesite instead of using Marvel Manhattan or New Earth as I think it will be more clear what is going on when I teach my son how to play. I have been avoiding trying out rules like swarm as I think it will feel so much different than the overpower I remember. What are the rush and burn rules?

justa

Rush is based on heavy hitters and winning quickly.
Burn is based on destroying the opponent's cards such that he runs out.
the full descriptions & rules for all 3 are on the Emporium pages.

Hey Photonicide, I really like your work here.  Still trying to figure out if Level 0 Power cards are something that could work in OP3, but I do like the idea.  Of course, I don't have Basic Universe or Training cards, but one type of Tactic card I have planned could possibly work with them.  Quick question: where did you find that Squirrel Girl art for the level 0 Multi?  I'm always looking for high-res art of my favorite characters.   ;D

Photonicide

Thanks OP3! I got the artwork from Marvels Avengers Alliance issue #1 https://www.comixology.com/Marvel-Avengers-Alliance-2016/comics-series/71086 It's free through Comixology with an amazon prime account. Yea, squirrel girl is one of my favorite characters too! Quick question for you: What do the different color backgrounds of your specials mean? One of your squirrel girl specials has a blue background while the others have yellow backgrounds.

OP3

Oh, that's just because my newer cards are a different set.  50 new Specials, one for each of my original Marvel Characters.  Squirrel Girl was in the original set.
