I'm curious about the great volumes of "people" on the site, yet no one is posting anything.
Is this a "flash mob: kind of thing?

Bloodwurm

I'm here, briefly every day but tbh, no time for content creation at all :(

I, too, check in daily, though posting here seems to have died with the move to discard.
But over 1,900 users?  Not 1 with a post - so probably bots, I don't know.  And no one willing to explain themselves.  I justa don't get it.

Hey Justa,

I come here periodically,  but it feels like a ghost town, with tumbleweeds blowing past.  :(

I like it because it's a great place to find older stuff, and they don't get completely buried like social media.  That and I can come here from work computer, whereas I can't visit Discord or Facebook.

I manage the site and maintain the hosting, but it's inundated with bots constantly signing up and I have to manually sift through them.  As a consequence people haven't really been able to sign up for years now.

I, too, greatly appreciate the accessibility of this site as opposed to the discord version.  I can go back and find things MUCH more easily, and conversations don't get lost in the chatter.

I'm not faulting you at all, good sir!  I commend you for keeping this site up with so little participation.  (It's still at the top of my "Favorites" list!)

I'm glad that people still come here. It's worth it to me to keep the site up even if people are just using it for historical reference. I've never been a fan of the chaos of modern platforms. Discord especially becomes just a stream of consciousness with no way to follow anything for longer than a few minutes.
