- that was my best impression of Jim Halpert doing his impression of Dwight Kurt Shrute! lol

So, I recently won the DC HOLO, Batman: Avenger, and I was building a Gotham deck around him (not competetive, but fun to me at least) and I kept coming back to the same conclusion: This might be the worst of the 3 Batman Hero cards!

Now, initially, I expected that to bum me out a little, since I just spent my hard-earned dough on it, but it happily did not. Still elated about my recent win on ebaY, I pressed on with my build. But, the question kept coming back up,

Which Batman Hero is the best? This seems to be the order for me:
Batman
Batman: Detective
Batman: Avenger

What about you?

I find I get the most use out of the Standard Batman as well. Being able to run 4 (two offsuit) teamworks is very useful, and tips the balance.

And though most people don't use Doubleshots, (fine by me, no one expects them when I drop those underrated little bombs!) Batman is an ideal Doubleshot character.

The holo heroes are nice and pretty, but I rarely use them myself. Though, one of these days I'll assemble that Batman: Detective team I've been thinking about. :P

I agree about the teamwork cards. Then, between Avenger and Detective, at least Detective gets another playable Special card (something Batman really, really needed). The bonus for Avenger is nice, though, if you have a friend who loves using Gotham Villains (Ranerdar!)   ;)

Also, it's worth noting, that my friends and I have come up with a fairly large amount of DCIII custom cards, giving 2 to each DC character. We tried to be pretty creative, while maintaining balance in both the OP Legion, and within the DC Overpower (Penguin shouldn't be one of the best Batman villains, but he is in the official game  ???).

We gave Batman
Utility Belt - HQ (Draw 3) and
Batmobile - HR (lv.9 E/S)

That always helps  ;D

Anyone else have an opinion on Batman's variants?

Ranerdar

Adam West. Definately the best Bat.

But since we're talking about Overpower. I'd have to go with Standard Batman. Cause he's the only one I have.
I'm polymerized tree sap and you're an inorganic adhesive, so whatever verbal projectile you launch in my direction is reflected off of me, returns on its original trajectory and adheres to you.

I enjoy the standard Bats as well. I have a hard enough time building a deck around him  ;) with the cards that he has let alone the others...

The bigger problem with that I.A. is that the V-coded characters are rarely used  :-\

Yeah that was one of the reason I prefer the original Bats. Plus I'm an old softy and I actually prefer the "real" card to the holo's. Don't get me wrong I like them, but I prefer old school cards  :)

Onslaught

This is what happens every time I try to play a Batman deck

Maybe you should try combining him with Nightwing! They're a winning pair, those two!  :P

I would definitely put Nightwing with Deathlok, Warlock (and play 3 of all of his specials! :P) and the X-Babies.....X-Babies make any team great - right?  :P
