this is a sign up topic for anyone who's interested.  we play games 'whenever', and report the results...very casual

it will be played under official rules, with marvels cards.

there may or may not be a theme, haven't decided yet.

the format will also be decided based on the number of players

I'm usually good for a game of OPO very late at night (11 - 1 am PST), but if I know I have an online tournament match then I can try and set aside an earlier time to play.

if no one else is interested, i'm thinking of doing a round robin, where we all play each other once, then have 2 people advance to the final. 

or possibly, the top seed gets a bye to the final, and 2/3 battle to see who faces him

I wouldn't mind getting in on it. Really it's just about the scheduling. If we're really only talking about 4 games, though (for my part), then I'm in! set up a bracket, of sorts, and I'm sure I can work out play times with each of my opponents

i know i can connect with everyone except demacus and nacnnelora, but i've never tried before either.  what's your guys' contact info?

as it is, we have 8 now, so we may just go single elimination again.

as for the seriousness of play demacus, that's entirely up to you.  of note, however, is that there were some traditional decks in last time, and the winner was a most unconventional deck of: morbius/x-babies/ghost rider/spider woman

I'll have to get back to you about contact info, since I'm not currently home atm.  I might just ressurect an old deck or two.  I used to like to Fighting Characters, but never seemed to get any kind of solid synergy going.  Then again, I never built a deck for anything other then to play with my friends back in high school.
