Whats the rule on crashes during a game?

Good question...  and I guess we should clarify rules in general.  Such as "Are Marvels specials allowed?"  and "who settles disputes should they arise?"

for crashes; i guess resume if you can, restart if you can't

anyone who intentionally crashes a losing game will try to exploit every other crack in the rules, so there's no point worrying about it.  if a pattern emerges, we can deal with it then.

as for rules issues, i guess we'll go by consensus here on the boards.

as for cards available: marvels are ok and are played with official rules (still not sure what the official rules are concerning captain america's and prof x's marvels card though...)

So THE MARVELS are allowed? Thats sort-of dissapointing, but I will live with it i guess.

As far as crashes go, one time i was playing this guy when the game reached the powerpack and i had all 4 of my heroes alive (3 of them 8-stat), and he only had 1 max-6 character alive when the program magically crashed, then he swore he was going to win that game... and with so many defeated mission, it was impossible for him to bet for the win and suicide. He still thinks he would of won....

I hope everyone plays fair, i guess we will go by the overpower honor system.

In our first online tournament I don't recall any of us running into any problems. I figured we were all just a group of understanding individuals. Granted it was just for fun and there wasn't this huge prize to win or anything. So far I've been able to connect and play with:

if anyone can't connect, and hasn't reported it to me by wednesday, the result will be a double loss.

if demacus and ncannelora are in, we'll do a single elimination, 8 man quickie

if one bows out, bbh will get a bye to second round as previous winner.

if both bow out, we'll do a round robin

I'm in. I've only played games with Ranerdar through the OPO program (using Hamachi) but we've never had trouble connecting. Tell me who my first (and only?) opponent will be and I'll give them my best shot!

A New Challenger Has Arrived!

I changed my mind. Instead of Sean(Harvey Dent), I want to play Ncant(winagame)lora in the first round. And i'm not just asking for the most inexperienced player of the tournament to face me in the first round,  for an easy win. I just think BBH might have a better chance to make it into round 2 where i can destroy him there. After that, Ill take breadmasterthe in the Finals. We can start the game in the powerpack, my 3 8-stats vs your 1 max 6 guy and see if they game really was over or not.

Let the games begin, boys. and girls hopefully....(I would love to play with Ncant's wife again, i've noticed the more experienced female player's seek bigger and better people to play with).
