The only things I'm unsure of are the last Legion membership card and the Legion newsletters, both are with a friend after shipping it to him. I probably only have 6/10 of the letters anyway.

You are missing 1 Overpower Game guide.  After the #1 Pre-release, the #1, #2, and #3, there was one more that covered decks #4, 5, and 6.  Had Spidey pictured on the cover, with bubbles of characters from the other decks behind/around him.

I have that one already.

EDIT:
After some impulse purchases, I now have all of the guides except Sworn to Protect and maybe the pre-release.

AH! I misread what you wrote and I thought you were just listing hard to get items...  I didn't realize it was a "Want" list.  Sorry.  I have the pre-release and the other one your missing, but they aren't in the best of shape.  I think both may be missing parts of the covers.

Jack

The ones I listed were just the ones I haven't found on eBay.. or just don't want to purchase at the current price on eBay.

I just purchased 5 Clobberin' Time so hopefully one will be a pre-release, what would distinguish the pre-release from number 1?

Demacus

The Pre-release actually has a little starburst on the front that states Pre-release, also, the information contained inside is not exactly the same, so the pre-release IS a little thinner...

Jack

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind once the package comes in.

Jack

Got the package of Clobberin' time, none are the pre-release copy. I actually got 7 of them instead of 5.

Blooper on one of the pages, they said: "Duplicate Special Cards: Your hand can only have one of each Special Card. If you got two Clobberin' Times, one of them has to go. These go into the K.O. Pile.". Clobberin' Time is OPD.. oh how the game has evolved.

Demacus

Yeah, I caught that way back in the day too.  I guess they just decided to use the card that Thing is known for, instead of a non-opd special, that didn't contain his catch phrase.

Here's a neat one, Iron Man was supposed to get an AF special in Power Surge:

--Add:
Captain America was supposed to get an AW, non-OPD, +6 venture in Power Surge:

Looking at the book further.. they actually said to use 46 power cards (including twelve 7's) in one of the decks for a total of 84 cards in a deck

Apocalypse was supposed to get a card called "Energy Heal" in Power Surge, I wonder what that would've been.

The strategy guide even talks about placing all 8 cards, venturing 1 and conceding and hoping to not get dupes in the next hand (with their power cards.. unlikely).

The guide is also written in the voice of the characters which is pretty impossible to interpret. It's kinda like chat-speak but not.

Dang! I might try that, just to see what the card draws are like. I can' barely imagine a deck with 46 power cards! o.O

My decks usually have half that amount..

I can do a page scan of the deck builds later tonight.

Demacus

THAT is an interesting angle that very few have explored.  Having WELL OVER the minimum card building amount, instead of trying to squeak in just at 51/56.  Chance for dupes might be higher, but then again, if you maintain your ratio, you still might not dupe much, and if you do, it doesn't hurt as bad cause you have so many in your deck.  If you have 12 "7"s in your draw pile, catching 2 in 1 hand isn't really noticeable.
