Hi everybody !
Like in the subject : did you know Tabletop Simulator ? It's a simulator (what a surprise !) for board and cards games. There is a really cool version of Overpower in it and few players (maybe you are here too ?). My dream is to create an "Ultimate" edition of OP with ALL your homemade cards. So, i want to ask you guys : could i use your homemades to include it in my mod ? Of course, i will give you credits for your incredible work.
Thank you in advance for your answers ! See you later !

1) as a card "creator", i would have absolutely no problem with you using my cards.  other "creators" may feel differently, though.  i'm not concerned with getting credit - i do it for fun.

2) is this the Tabletop Simulator on Steam?  (i did a google search.)  i have never used it.  i used to have a steam password back around "Fallout: New Vegas" days, but my current computer isn't beefy enough to play those sort of games anymore.   :'(

3) your dream "to create an "Ultimate" edition of OP with ALL your homemade cards" will be a near impossibility, my friend.  i have been collecting homemade cards, the vast majority made by others, for the past 15 years myself.  (alas, the are saved at screen resolution, so they would not be high enough resolution to be useable for such a venture.)  i wasn't smart enough to keep track of where i found them all, but i'm sure some would be quite unobtainable due to web sites disappearing.  i'm currently at 1,744 unique characters (including clones & variants), with 6,079 unique Specials.

4) getting others to use homemade cards is always a problem.  many players don't like to allow the use of cards they don't know.  also some homemades (mine included, i'm sure) are too strong, giving the homemade character an unfair advantage.  (back when i used to play, we figured that as long as they were available to all players, then why not use them - my print budget was bigger in those days.)

5) i would encourage you to post up any of your own homemades that you still have on file (since you mentioned them in the introduction post).

good luck

Hi Justa !

1) thank you ! Already one ! I will wait answers from the other creators

2) yeah, this one. It's a really good game and the comunity is very creative. You can find a lot of games in the workshop : OP of course, Spellfire, Magic The Gathering, Zombicide, Warhammer Fantasy and 40K and so many others... It's impressive !

3) I don't think there is so many homemades... 1744 chars... I am shocked ! So i reformulate : "i want to create an ultimate edition with all the homemade cards that i can find !" Indeed, i find a lot of error 404 like you said. Never mind, i will make with what i found.

4) It's not a problem, i just want to give the choice to the players : there is one version without homemades and mine's with it !

5) Yeah, it was planned, i will post it now !

OP3

I was wondering if anyone had so far tried to emulate OP in Tabletop Simulator.  I might just have to check it out.  You can go ahead and use mine.  You'll just have to ignore any references to Affiliations.  Some of the Characters and Specials with differing Identities might be a bit tricky to use with standard cards as designed, however.  You can find all of my cards here: http://overpower-3rd.deviantart.com/gallery/
