*** SPOILER ALERT ***

IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED METAL GEAR SOLID 1, 2, 3, & 4, I RECOMMEND DOING SO BEFORE READING ABOUT THESE CARDS!!! (I'm looking at you, Ranerdar!)

Without further ado -

Solid Snake:

Meryl:

Otacon:

Raiden:

Cyborg Ninja:

and the Any Heroes:

The card text is a little small in these uploads, but the card codes are legible, I think (and accurate to OP Legion). The only two cards that are actually unique are these Raiden cards:

"i was thinking again about the balance/realism issue... and despite the grids, i DO really like this game"
- breadmaster

"Even comics arent' as much fun as OverPower."

Thanks for posting these. I've been interested ever since you mentioned them to me.

I don't have time to check them all out now, but I definitely will.

No problem! If you want, I can also email you the MS Paint files. When I print them, I just print them onto these labels,
http://www.amazon.com/Self-Adhesive-Plain-Badges-Inkjet-AVE5395/dp/B001TQBV0M/ref=sr_1_5?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1315419361&sr=1-5
which I then just stick right on top of other OP cards (like training cards and missions). You can get a package of 10 pages (80 labels) at Walmart for about $7. I like these particular labels because they're semi-gloss so the pictures show up really well and they're also very flexible meterial, but still pretty thin. So, it makes the cards very shuffle-able, even without sleeves.

You need to let this whole, me playing MGS thing go. It's not gonna happen.
I'm polymerized tree sap and you're an inorganic adhesive, so whatever verbal projectile you launch in my direction is reflected off of me, returns on its original trajectory and adheres to you.

Dear Ranerdar,

Play this game.  The first Metal Gear Solid is still probably the best game I've ever played.  You'll be glad you did.

These cards are waaaaaay cool.  I would love to see a complete set with some better quality prints.  Metal Gear is an amazing series.

I would also love to see the following OP sets with some serious scrutiny in power and playability:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Street Fighter
Mega Man
Masters of the Universe
Castlevania

Just for starters ;D

Every time I see these I love them.

thanks guys!

as a side note, I have been toying with writing out some Missions/Events. I'm leaning toward making a separate set for each game. so far, there are 2 Event ideas I've had and really liked (both from MGS1):

"A Hero Is Broken" In order to Concede this battle, you must discard all placed cards.
"Les Enfants Terribles" - Do not discard duplicate Power Cards this Battle.

"Can Love Bloom on a Battlefield?" Male characters cannot attack female characters this battle.

"Otacon's Accident" - Characters with an Intellect of 7 or 8 may not attack this battle.

Favorite moment in MGS?

so, so many! I'd have to break it down by game.
mgs1: revealing that Liquid was "in contact" with Snake the whole time!
mgs2: Solid pointing to his bandana and telling Raiden, "Infinite ammo"
mgs3: revealing how, exactly, Big Boss lost his eye. DANG.
mgs4: Raiden's fight scene; pick one.

Ya know, I stil havent' finished 4.. heck, I've barely even played it.  But the other 3 I love.  One and two I've went through many times, but 3 I've only finished once... I need to replay it.  And finish 4 while I'm at it.  4 seemed a little clunky with so many different weapons.  But no worries, I can manage I'm sure.

I'm not sure what my favorite moment is, but I love the little things in the game, like Campbell getting ticked at you for shooting rats with the sniper rifle just after defeating Sniper Wolf the first time, or when the elevator wont move because youre about to be ambushed, and how you can tell it's Meryl because of the way she walks just before she runs into the bathroom.  This game took games to a whole new level for me, but oddly, I didn't get into 3-D gaming except for MGS for many years.  I still prefer platformers.  But the story and the characters were just too good to not enjoy these great games.

If you ever get a chance, and can find a copy (I think it's Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, but I'm not sure), play the original Metal Gear, and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.  You might as well do those if you haven't already.  Solid Snake is a really fun game, and it isn't that Snake's Revenge game that came out for Nintendo.  This is a whole other game.
