Awsome pics and vids as always Jack!  ;)  Noticed one thing about gameplay though. I saw that Orange K. placed A-Next on the FFP homebase. I thought it could only be placed on Team OP. Is that right?

You are correct. That is a play that I am constantly reminding people of.

A-next CANNOT BE PLACED except to the Team Overpower Homebase.

Orangeking is forced to forfeit all wins, prizes & swag, points leading up to the cup and salty snacks for the remainder of the year!

He did, but he was under the impression we were using my house rules, for which that play would have been legal.

I caught him using that card on my game with him as well.

more than your average amount of body/language intimidation going on in this match... Live play is so much more impressive!

Onslaught

Somehow I missed this thread, just got caught up on the videos that were posted. Marcel's deck was obviously coming from a place of casual play/amused indifference, but it still had some cool synergy going on. Marrow is an underrated character, especially in the max 6 format. Some of the more questionable cards like Fastball Special still had some cute synergies, like landing White Tiger as a 10 to block. I don't agree with the inclusion of the Colossus AX special, but it's not like it is unplayable or anything. The only thing that I can't wrap my head around is the decision to run Pym Particles. I might be overlooking something, but I see absolutely no synergy with it in that particular deck. I'd certainly be interested to hear what his reasoning for using it was, assuming it was something beyond "I was at 55 cards and I grabbed something for the last slot."

I also really like the Iron Man deck in pink sleeves, he definitely becomes a unique character in Marvels with that godlike LO.
