Rorschach - 1835 - an energy icon must be present to ko Rorschach
Nite owl II - 2646 - +1 to any teamwork or ally action
Ozymandias - 1638 - +2 when using cards containing an intellect icon for defense
Dr. Manhatten - 8266 - may not place power cards
Silk spectre II - 2744 - +1 to all power card actions
The Comedian - 3754 - may attack with cards containing an energy icon from reserve

The end is nigh - mission
Event -
nothing ever ends - remove all cards that act as more that 1 power type from the permanent record
No masks - both players play open handed for this battle
Death of Edward Blake - any hits this battle resulting in a ko do not count towards venture
Murder conspiracy - all hits this battle must be made against the reserve, until reserve is koed, reserve may defend with any power card to defend any numerical attack.
Rorschach's journal published - place all cards possible after discarding duplicates and unusables, then redraw until both players have 7 cards.

Just made these up.

while im not familiar with them those sound pretty good

I'm a big X-men/Marvel fan and I think The Watchmen is one of the best Superhero films made.

How young are you guys lol?! It is arguably the greatest comic book ever produced (DKR & KC are in the argument)! I know there are limitations & time concerns with a movie but the fact is the movie & the comic arent close in comparison. The movie would have to have been the equivalent of The Godfather to equal the reverence the comic gets in its industry. I'm not bashing the movie but to ask if he's watched the movie instead of asking if he read the comic struck me as kinda funny. The only reason I'm replying to this post is because my son told me a little over a month ago that he had to read the Watchmen for his one of his college classes. I saved him few bucks by giving him an extra copy I had (it was my bathroom copy from years back but he doesnt have to know). :o

Given that the comic came out in the 80s.... ;)

If you haven't read it yet, put it on your list. It's a worthwhile read. There's a reason it changed the way comics were presented, and that now it's studied at the post-secondary level.

The movie was a reasonably faithful adaptation on a superficial level, but really doesn't scratch the depth of the original.

And that's my 2 cents.

Couldn't agree more. After reading the original Watchmen TPB I jumped all over the 'Before Watchmen' Limited series' that are on sale now. These are the first DC books I have bought in 26 years of collecting comics.
