So, there are tons of characters that I don't have and don't use, but mostly because I don't really care about them.

Then, there are TONS of characters I really like, who never made it into OP. Since Disney owns Marvel, I thought I'd do them a favor, and bring Phineas and Ferb to OP! However, in an effort to keep the peace with my playing group, I opted to make them a clone/variant of a character I don't have/use. This way, we have a gentleman's agreement that I don't actually double up, but I also don't have to worry about "balance" or introducing a new character who is "broken."

So, when I looked around, I realized that Phineas and Ferb could very easily, and appropriately, serve as a clone to Mr. Fantastic. So, without further ado:

so, what do you think? I plan to do this with some others, too. I think this is how I'll go about making TMNT cards, and possibly some Star Wars cards, too (especially now that they're part of Disney/Marvel  ;))

Ha ha - very cool, also very obscure characters! LOL!

TMNT would be awesome. There are so many characters in the TMNT franchise, particularly if you go back to the old 80s versions. In fact, didn't Image comic publish TMNT for a short while? They should have been part of Image OverPower!

Image published a TMNT comic, drawn by Lesean (way awesome) but it was after OP was finished.  Sigh...

This is a good idea for making cool fun characters to play, or getting some new kids into OP. 8)

thanks guys! I plan on doing a whole bunch. I figure it could help get my daughter a little more interested (although, she was a BIT more interested when I til her Cyke and Jean were married  ;))

a few others I'm considering:

TNNT
Word Girl
Jem
My Little Pony
Care Bears

Aww, that's awesome, man! You're a good father - even doing Care Bears and My Little Pony for her. I'm sure she'd be over the moon!

Although, I cannot really imagine Care Bears and My Little Pony duking it out on the battlefield. LOL. Very thoughtful, in any case!

Well, I just think of it in relative terms. They have powers, even if they don't directly translate. I figure the Care Bears would need to be a more supportive, less offensive character... maybe like Invisible Woman (although, I've recently considered expanding my collection to include FF and Avengers). Then, the Ponies could be a little more balanced (for Off/Def), but along the same lines...

as close as those might be, I already use both Dazzler and X-babies. I'd really like to use these little endeavors to expand my character pool... also, Care Bears are WAY smarter than a 1 INT  >:(

Well, I was going for cute and cuddly... I certainly didn't mean to play down the intellect of the bears.  :-[
